This playful line of functional home décor items is perfect for everyone from the young to the young at heart.

The Salad Server Set is the design that launched this continually expanding collection. It features cutout images of husband and wife faces. Designer Hans G. Schroll wanted to communicate the positive concept of reliable friends, an important theme in the collection’s design. Friends Forever describes the magical moment when someone gives a gift to a beloved friend. He did this through the fanciful faces as well as through the collection name and packaging. This is the first time that the company developed a comprehensive product concept. Schroll connected everything, from the product design, to the colorful packaging and bold logo.

From the beginning, the preferred material for this line was stainless steel. Schroll chose the material for its superior performance characteristics, but created a contrasting softness by designing endearing faces and amusing packaging. The end result is a product line that is both functional and charming.

There are more than 110 delightful designs in the Friends Forever collection. This includes everything from a family of espresso spoons, to smiling cocktail skewers, “nosey” walnut openers, laughing orange peelers, and cheery ice cream scoopers.
